Rock Climbing

Long’s Peak Mountain Guides provides expert instruction for top roped or multi-pitch climbing. Our guides custom design all rappelling sites, top roping and multi-pitch climbs to impart safety fundamentals, climbing technique, improvement of ability level and love of the sport. LPMG philosophy means you have an immediate “hands on” experience going climbing outside. Right off you’ll be tying knots, using the equipment and be involved with belaying to ascend the heights and feel the freedom of the mountains.
All technical gear and climbing shoes are provided.

Lead Climbing

Experiencing the thrill of being on the “sharp end” of the rope is like nothing else in the world but you need proper instruction and it takes time to learn properly. We’ll teach you to place “bomber” traditional gear on the lead and set up solid belay anchors.
